Fairy of Hope Filled Moments

Hello Friends of Bluebird Fairies,

As the growth of new things begins to take form beneath the earth we are filled with lots of energy.

The quietness of winter is subsiding, the strong energy of 'doing' is moving into place.

Since it's easy to become overwhelmed I present this wonderful fairy:

Hope Filled Moments.jpg

The 'Fairy of Hope Filled Moments' announces he is here so we can remember that in each moment there is hope.

Maybe your arms are filled with a happy cat?  Or you're feeling a ray of sun sneaking in a window?  Maybe you're out walking with a friend in nature?

Move from one hope to the next as you move through the patterns of your life.

Have fun!  Smile.  Live

Fondly,

Emily and the Bluebird Fairies.

Fairy of Yes! Yes! Yes!

Dear Friends of Bluebird Fairies,

I hope you are doing well and spring is opening up your heart with the sun and promise of green, green, green.

Last week, on the 28th, I had my prototype of the 'Fairy of the Day' app pick, at random, a fairy for me to write about in this blog. I smiled when she showed up.  Here she is:

Fairy91.YesYesYes.jpg

The 'Fairy of Yes! Yes! Yes!' with her statements of "Together" and "Onward" sums up so much of what my experience has been lately.

I've been enjoying working with people on projects.

Some are situations where I work alone and then share my work with someone who adds another part and then hands it back to me or on to another person.

Other situations are in rooms with lots of people and we're moving through a process together by each adding our self to it.

As you know, I'm very invested in this being the 'Year of the Dog' and hold its meaning to be something like 'benevolent bonds that assist us in growing positively.'

Let's all join metaphorical hands and grow forward in our work and play.  We need it!

Much fondness,

Emily and the Bluebird Fairies

p.s.  Tomorrow, I'm heading up to Montreal with Brian to see the art show for the late, great Leonard Cohen at the MAC Montreal (till April 8th!) Here's the "transitional fairy' I made for him when he passed on:

Three Fairy Sisters

Dear Friends of Bluebird Fairies,

Spring is here.  The Winter Fairy has led us here.  The light is brightening.

It's time to look at what we need as we tend the gardens of our winter thinking.

Today, I'm sharing fairies I created when I was pondering some of the harder moments of life.  Many of mine included my inability to connect in with myself and know what I was feeling about what was going on around me.

Since I know we all struggle with this at times, here are 3 fairies to support us.

What's Going On.jpg

Ah, yes, a fairy that assists us in knowing what's going on and how we feel about it. Glad, she's here.

Speaking Up.jpg

Oh, good.  A fairy that assists us in speaking up for ourselves and others.  Yes, we can!

Putting Your Foot Down.jpg

And, last but not least, a fairy to assist us in putting our foot down!!!  Oh, yes.  We can do this.  And will.

Have fun moving into your dreams.  Soon, the 'Fairy of the Day' app will be here to assist.

Much love,

Emily and the Bluebird Fairies

Yes! Take the Time to Hold You Dearly

Dear Friends of Bluebird Fairies

Hello.  I hope this finds you well and in good spirits. Or, with a tiny spark of light in your life that you can follow to find those better feeling times.

I've gotten, as we say, 'Under the Weather', which is unfortunately something I resist accepting and rather than lying down and napping I think of more things I need to do because I feel a nagging sense I'm falling behind with my 'to do' lists.

Then it catches me.  And I internally exclaim, 'Yes!'  - just like the fairy I pulled today randomly from the Bluebird Fairy Deck.

Here he is-

Fairy9.Yes!TaketheTime.jpg

The fairy of "Yes! Take the time to Hold You Dearly' always shows up when he's most needed.  Today, I will take it easy and find my way through this day.

I hope whenever he shows up for you, and, perhaps, this is the moment for you as well, you can relax into the idea of being comfortable with your yourself and resting.  It brings us such good to let go and watch the clouds roll by or the snow come down or the birds fly.

Have fun, and we will too.

All the best to you!

Love

Emily and the Bluebird Fairies

P.S.

For Chinese New Year's this year I created a fiery red fairy for the 'Year of the dog'.  As I read more about the year of the Earth Dog and it's benevolent easy offering to us this year I've rethought the colors.

Here he is, a brownish orange dog with blue flowers with white petals living in a world of pink clouds.  His' Happy Easy New Year!!!' feels better. Happy New Year of the Earth Dog!

Engaging in Life Fully

Dear Friends of Bluebird Fairies,

I hope this email finds you well and able to take a moment to read this.

Ever have days where all the big and little mistakes and confusions of life seem to be piling up around you?

Today I was contemplating this when my eyes glanced on this fairy hanging on the wall of our kitchen.

Engagement.jpg

The 'Fairy of Engagement' is so simple and easy.  I LOVE her and her sweet message of "Have Fun. Every Day. In Every Way."

Is that possible?  Especially when things go wrong or awry?

Yes. They can.

This fairy was created because Brian and I are engaged and we've named this year; 'The Year of Engagement.'

Yesterday I was thinking about my engagement ring and realized something remarkably wonderful about it.

The ring was my Grandmother's.  After Brian presented it to me last summer my aunt filled us in on the story behind the ring.  The original engagement and wedding rings were lost on a road trip in the 60's when my grandmother washed her hands at a rest stop. The loss wasn't realized for 50 miles and though my Grandparents returned and searched the rings were gone. My ring is a replacement for what was surely a large, sad loss.

On the bright side, this delightful, sparkly ring on my hand has been waiting over 50 years to fulfill it's role of 'engaging'. Now, it is.

There's always an opportunity to live the strand of the story through to the miracle.

It is through engaging in our lives fully that we find the magic of life.

Onward and Upward.

All the best,

Emily and the Bluebird Fairies
